Went out to a rainy Helsby for half an hour to get the Penmaenmawr to Shap stone for a second time as it is for this week only.

Went over to Helsby to get the ballast running (for this week only) from Penmaenmawr to Shap. Went to the bridge first and heard a noise to find a GBRf 66 reversing on the Ellesmere Port line ! Went to the station and the signalman said it would be back after the ballast coming from Chester, so we decided to wait for that as well.

After seeing that the flasks had passed Llanfairfechan we rushed out to Sandycroft to get them passing and made it with a minute to spare.
After getting the flaks we went over to Helsby to see what was the on the timber, we had heard there was an Arriva 57 at Carlisle and hoped it would turn up - our wish was granted.
We then went to Mostyn to try for the WAG but realised the view was too tight and we would have to move.
So went to Ffynnongroyw for the WAG to finish off the evening.

Went over to Kirkdale after football training to see what shots we could get of the derailed 507. Timed it perfectly to see the undamaged 2 coaches of 507002 being recovered and taken back onto the depot.

Went to Bidston to start to get 67026 arriving with the barriers from Warrington Arpley.
Then went down to Birkenhead North to get the 67 running around and the blue capital of culture 507 for another time.
Went back to Bidston then to get the 67 taking a unit over to Doncatser.
As the 67 came out in the earlier path ti has to wait for the arriva passenger to get to Shotton; meaning it waits at the starter. Allowing us to get to the road bridge for another shot.

Started off in the morning at Helsby to get the Ellesmere Port coal and the merseyrail stock move coming back.
After getting the move we went home for an hour before heading back out to Upton to get the stock move coming in for a second time.
We then beat the stock down to Bidston and got it again before going into Birkenhead North depot.
Next we went down to Birkenhead North to get the 67 running around.
We then stayed in the car and watched the 67 shunt in order to find out when it would be leaving.
After seeing it was ready to leave we went to Bidston for the barriers coming back out. It had to wait at the starter for 5 minutes as it was following the passenger down so we went round to the bridge at Bidston and got it again.

Went over to Edge Hill after finishing school early because there was a 59 down at Liverpool Docks on trial again.
After finding out that it had already passed, running very early, we decided to race up to West Allerton to get 67026 on the wagons for repair for a second time.

Started off in the morning at Hooton to get the royal 67 on the fathers day special coming in. Then went down to the station to get it running around.
Went up to Capenhurst for 10 minutes tog et the 67 coming out heading up towards Carlisle.
Ambled over to Wrexham for the departure to London Marylebone around 1 o clock and the arrival at half past.
After seeing there was a 153 on the Bidston - Wrexham circuit decided to go to Bidston to get it for a second time.
Went home for tha afternoon then came back out to Helsby in the evening to get the 67 passing through on its way back to Hooton.
Finished off at Hooton with the 67 arriving, running around and then departing.

Started off early in the morning to try adn get the RTZ to Holyhead and to see if the shotton paper was running.
Went down to Winwick Juncton for half an hour to catch the 40 heading south.
Rushed over to Sandycroft to get 6233 heading to Holyhead on anohter special.
Moved along to Mold Junction for the pendolino drag going to Holyhead.
Went back over to Helsby next to see if the Ellesmere Port coal was coming back out.
Back over to North Wales to Hollywell Junction for an hour while waiting for uodats on the RTZ returning from Holyhead.
Finished off at Ffynnongroyw to get the RTZ and the pendo drag both returning from Holyhead.

Went to my local station Rock Ferry for twenty minutes to see if the network rail 150 turned up as it was booked to pass through.

Went to Helsby to start to try and get the timber again.
Then went over to Acton Bridge to get the GBRf flyash heading south.
Next onto Latchford to try and get the GBRf heading back north and the bardon 66 on the Ellesmere Port coal.
Finished at Arpley to get the coal and gypsum coming back out after running round.

Went down to Long Marston for the open day.
On the way back decided to stop in at Water Orton for a while as there were two coals booked.

Decided to go out to Crewe for the day on the train to see if the empty stocks were around.

Spent a few hours at Crewe to see what was around. As Stoke was shut there was diversions so a very busy day.
Then a quick 20 minutes at Chester while changing trains again.

Travelled down on the train to Wembley to watch Everton play against Chelsea in the FA Cup Final. Decided to take the PowerShot A460 along just in case as it is easy to carry.

Next a quick shot of the train I got up to Wembley Central before departure.
Finally a couple of shots at Wembley Stadium while walking out of the ground.

Went to Helsby to see if 57316 was on the timber as it was in Carlisle. Also to see if we could get the coal heading into Ellesmere Port.
After getting the timber decided to head over to Acton Bridge to see if the sinfin tanks were running and if anything else of interest was around. ENded up stayin at Acton Bridge until 21:45 despite the fact it was pitch black because we were waiting for 6X77 which was held in the loop.

Atfer hearing that 66841 was heading south we decided to race out to Acton Bridge to try and get it. Upon arrival we found out that it had failed and gone back north so we decided to stay anyway to see what was around. As we were walking back to the car the flasks went south so the best shot I could manage was across a field.

After finding out that 59205 was up in the area for load trials on the Liverpool coals I came out to get the return working after school. I went to the Olive Mount chord to get it.
It was then held at the signal so we raced round to Olive Mount Junction to get it for a second time.

Started off with at Helsby to get the empty caol going down to Ellesmere Port and the timber heading to Chirk.
After getting the two decided to head over to Rowton as the yellow hst was on its way down. Also stayed to get the WAG at a different location.

Raced over to Sandycroft after school to get the flasks as they had two 66/4s on.
Then went over to Dunham Hill to get the 507/8 drag with 67029 on and the timber.
After getting the two finished off with an hour at Helsby to get the Ellesmere Port coal.

I was staying in Prestatyn for the weekend and after hearing that there was a special booked down the coast I decided to head to the nearest bridge for 45 minutes, to get a shot of it and anything else that was around.

Started off in the morning at Wrexham to get the 10:47 departure to London Marylebone.
Then decided to go over to Peak Forest to see what was around and if the Tunstead - Oakleigh was running (it wasn't)
After hearing that 60074 was on a Margam - Dee Marsh steel we raced back over to Wrexham to get it passing through.

Started off very early at Hooton to get a shot of the special before it left.
Went to Bache to get a shot of the special crossing onto the back of the triangle.
A quick call in at Chester to get the "Tinto" after hearing that the army 60 was allocated to it.
Moved over to Helsby after getting the "Tinto" to get the Ellesmere Port Coal.
Then raced the coal down to Ellesmere Port Docks for another shot of the coal.
Finished off with an hour at Warrington to get the 40 heading northbound on a special.

Went to Helsby to get the timber and to see if the Ellesmere Port coal was running.
After hearing that a virgin 57/3 was on the WAG decided to head over to Chester to get it.

Started off early at Helsby to see if the Tinto, Shotwick Paper or the Ellesmere Port coal ran.
Then went down to Coppenhall for the two northbound specials that were due.
We made a brief stop in at Hartford on the way north for modelling purposes.
Spent a while at Warrington then to get the two coals that were booked and anythign else that was around.
Finished off at Fiddleres Ferry as we knew that there were two coals waiting to come out of the power station.

After hearing a fastline 66 was booked into Liverpool Bulk Terminal on load trials we decided to go over to Edge Hill to see if we could get it.
After getting the coal at Edge Hill decided to go down to the bridge at Wavertree to get it for a second time.

Went to Bidston to start to get 67008 bringing a 508 back from Doncaster.
Then went round to Birkenhead North to get the 67 running around its train.
After nipping home for a bit came back out to Storeton to get the 67 taking another 508 back over to Doncaster.

Went to Warrington for a few hours after haering that there was two 60s on the coal circuit aswell as the Bardon 66.
Decided to race the Bardon 66 to Ince to get another shot of it after it was held up at helsby.
Finished off at Ellesmere Port with the Bardon 66 again.

Went to Acton Bridge for a few hours to try and get the two speicals that were heading northbound in the day. Also to see if the DRS intermodals were running.

Started off with a couple of hours at Milford Junction. Wasn't the busiest so decided to head back over to Broad Oak for the merseyrail drag in the afternoon.
Then moved over to Rowton after hearing that 47760 was due through on an ECS to Crewe.
Next went to helsby for an hour to try and get the timber again.
After getting the timber finished off at Sandycroft to get the WAG in the sun for the first time.
